Affiliate disclosure
The short version
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you buy through one, the vendor may pay us a commission at no additional cost to you. Any page containing such links says so at the top of that page.
The rules that matter more
Disclosure alone is weak. A site can disclose an affiliate relationship and still quietly rank its payers first. So the constraint here is structural, not just declarative:
- Affiliate availability, commission rates, and revenue potential are excluded from every score this site computes — the benchmark results and the tool selector alike.
- A free or non-affiliate product ranks first whenever the prespecified evidence shows it performs best. ASReview is free and open source and pays us nothing. If it wins, it is published as the winner.
- We do not join a tool’s affiliate program before that tool’s evaluation is complete and frozen. We do not want a financial position in a result we have not yet produced.
- Where a top-ranked tool pays us nothing, the page says so.

At the time of writing, no affiliate relationship is active. This section will list every program we join, with the date, as they are joined.
